NOTICE TEXT: Department of Health and Human Services Health Resources and Services Administration Division of Procurement Management Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)Small Business Vendor Day This is a SPECIAL NOTICE. The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), an Operational Division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is hosting a Small Business Vendor Day to reach out to small businesses, and particularly to 8(a) firms, HUBZone firms, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) interested in performing HRSA's contractual requirements. READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND COMPLETELY! YOU WILL NOT BE ADMITTED TO THIS OPPORTUNITY WITHOUT FOLLOWING THESE INSTRUCTIONS! The HRSA Small Business Vendor Day event will be held on April 10, 2008 from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM in the Parklawn Building, 5600 Fishers Lane, Rockville, Maryland 20857.The meeting will begin at 8:30 sharp with presentations by representatives of the Office of the Secretary of HHS and HRSA's Division of Procurement Management, followed by brief presentations by program officials from the following HRSA organizations: Bureau of Clinician Recruitment and Services (BCRS) Bureau of Health Professions (BHPR) Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC) HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB) Health Systems Bureau (HSB) Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) Office of Federal Assistance Management (OFAM) Office of Information Technology (OIT) Office of Performance Review (OPR) Office of the Administrator (AO) Following this plenary session, these program officials will conduct short one-on-one interviews with attendees by appointment only, until the meeting closes at 12:30 PM. It is very important, prior to registration, that you review available information on HRSA at www.hrsa.gov to become familiar with HRSA's various organizations and their missions to facilitate mutually successful one-on-one interviews incorporating the discussion of common interests and objectives. Space is limited, and registration for this event is limited to one (1) representative per company. Each company will be limited to two (2) one-on-one interviews on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the time of registration.For one-on-one interview appointments, you must enter IN PRIORITY ORDER in your registration, no more than four (4) of the organizations listed above, under the heading HRSA Organizations. HRSA will make those appointments and distribute the appointments schedules at the sign-in table the morning of the meeting. The registration site described below will open at 12:00 Noon, Eastern Daylight Time on Thursday, March 13, 2008; and will close automatically when the site reaches capacity of 80 registrants. Due to space limitations we are not accepting any more than 80 registrations. We do expect to reach capacity rapidly. If you are unable to access the registration site due to full capacity, please be advised that we expect to continue to hold events of this type regularly and periodically in the future. This electronic registration will be the only way to register for this event; no telephone calls will be accepted. INCOMPLETE REGISTRATIONS (missing required information) WILL BE REJECTED BY THE SYSTEM. You will receive an automatic E-Mail message confirming your registration within 24 hours, if and when accepted by the system. The Parklawn Building is a secure Federal building, and you will not be allowed entry to the facility without being pre-registered, producing a photo ID, passing through security screening, and being escorted by HRSA personnel to the place of the meeting. Therefore, substitutions will not be able to gain entry; the person pre-registered will be the only person admitted, and it is critical that you register exactly as your name appears on photo ID.Parking in the area is limited, but the location is within short walking distance (four blocks) of the Twinbrook Metro station on the Red Line. Please arrive in plenty of time to clear security and arrive at the meeting room prior to the beginning of the meeting at 8:30 sharp. HRSA personnel will escort visitors beginning at 7:30 AM, and escort the last visitors from the security desk at 8:25 AM. There will be NO ADMISSION to the site after 8:30 AM.
